Okay, so its been a bit since my last post. I'm terribly sorry about that. I just haven't been online a whole lot to update this page.

Just uploaded a few shots since my last shoot. Oh, I've been shooting other things, but I'll have to upload those things later.

About to move, so I'm going to be offline for a bit once again, but hopefully I'll be back soon.

All the stuff in my gallery here except for a couple of the black and white pieces (Neuschwanstein Castle, etc) were shot on a Canon EOS 30D DSLR (which has now been superceded by the new 40D).

Great idea! I got some very good advice from a professional photographer a while back - put more of your money into your lenses starting out. Your digital camera (30D, 400D, whatever) will probably be worth very little in 5 years or so. However your lenses will probably last 15 years or more if they're taken care of - way longer than your camera will probably even be operable.

Canon 'L' grade lenses are expensive, but hold about 80-85% of their value if they're in good condition, so look at them as an investment. If times get hard you can always sell one or two off and get a good deal of the money back if its a popular lens. Also, there are a number of outfits that will rent lenses for days or weeks at a time for a reasonable price, so you can test a lens out before you spend the money to actually buy it.
